Hey Everyone! And welcome to another "PiP Blogger!" Jo & Siobhan got married at the beautiful location of Stratton Court Barn just outside of Bicester Oxfordshire. I asked Jo to write up a little piece about their day, and she has added links to their suppliers, plus some links to blogs she has written about her throughts and experiences of their wedding, a nice little read! However I do hope you enjoy looking through the images, remember to come over to my FACEBOOK page, hit the like button and keep up to date with all my latest work and news.

We wanted to make our wedding very 'us'. We therefore chose to spend money on the things that were really important to us (like good photography) and save on the things that we didn't care about (like transport). Likewise, we included and adapted the traditions we'd always dreamed of having (like walking down the aisle) and ignored the ones we weren't fussed about (like who was supposed to do a speech and who wasn't).
We chose our wedding colours based on the fact that we always seemed to end up buying matching blue and red belongings, like the rucksacks we bought to go travelling with! Jo's favourite colour is blue and Siobhán's is red, so we decided to have a colour each. Jo's bridesmaids and flowers were blue, and Siobhán's were red.
Almost every detail was chosen because it suited us. We had fish and chips because we love it and can't be doing with 'posh food'! We wrapped up big bars of Dairy Milk in red and blue paper for the favours, because Jo loves chocolate. We used old books as centrepieces, because words are important to both of us. Jo's driver was her "German dad" and Siobhán's was her brother. We're minimalists, so our guest book was a canvas rather than a physical book. (It's now on the wall rather than gathering dust in the loft!) Jo loves branding and business, so our invitations were two little business cards tied together with ribbon. And so on...
